Project Brief
This project in Burstock, Dorset we were asked to make a garden space that would suit a small family, be child friendly and also have the appeal to the adults and be able to host get togethers. We were given a specific challenge here and that was that every material had to be locally sourced, from reclamation yards etc. Nothing was bought new if it was possible to obtain used.
Our Process
We created a large patio made from Indian Sandstone, a large wall from multicoloured bricks with slab capping. Multiple flower beds throughout a pergola and new lawn.
The End Result
The garden required a lot of drainage throughout and also the whole perimeter was to be fenced in 6ft feather board fencing, associated gates. A new entrance from the road was created with dropped kerbs and a tarmac driveway that fed into a gravel parking area.
